Hope for Haiti - Global Village Foundation Update

Sunday February 7th, 2010 Update

Yank Barry and Global Village have been accomplishing great things in Haiti thanks to the generous donations of Global Village Champions and Global Villagers.

This past week, the Global Village Foundation has partnered with the California 7th Day Adventists and the Carribean Rotary International.  We are working closely with both organizations.

On Friday Yank chartered a twin engine airplane and flew to Haiti with a senior member of the 7th Day Adventist Church.  They delivered 1200 pounds of antibiotics to two area hospitals in Port-au-Prince.

100% of your donations are going directly to the aid of the Haitian people.  We are not delivering to wharehouses, we are delivering directly to where the need is via the area churches.  Since this terrible disaster this is what the Foundation has dontated:

42 Tons of Whole Rice
38 Tons of Black Beans
15,000 Gallons of Water
2,000 Cases of Sardines
60 Cases of Gerber Baby Food
8 Tons of Grits

In the coming weeks there are going to be some major announcements of projects that we are working on.  Our first goal is going to be to establish two hospitals, they should be up and running by March 1st.

These Hospitals will be dedicated to two of Global Village's most dedicated Champions.

The First Hospital will be Dedicated to Muhammad Ali and the second will be announced on Monday February 8th. Live Phone Call (see details below).

We are holding a LIVE CALL ~ the purpose is to introduce to you some of the Foundations Champions, to update you on what we have accomplished in Haiti and what our future plans are for Haiti.  I can promise you that you will be amazed at what Yank and the team have been able to accomplish in a very short period of time. You will also not beleive what we are about to undertake.

To give you a taste of some of the Champions that will be speaking on the call here is a small partial list:

Evander Hollyfield
Ben E. King
Frank Dicopoulos
Gary U.S.Bonds
Eric Williams
Will Castro
Lebron James

There are going to be some surprises:

An Artist that's sold over 80 Million records worldwide.

An actor that's been on TV for over 20 years.

A living legend in the music industry.

There will also be some great chances to win some incredible prizes.

I truly hope that you will be able to join me, hear what Yank will have to say and decide for yourself if you wish to join us to help rebuild Haiti.  100% of your contributions go directly to Haiti, we have no adminstrative fees or hidden costs.

There are several ways you can make a difference:

Donate via the Haiti Button for a one time contribution of $10.00 or more

Become a Villager:
As a contributing member as a Villager you will be joining the first "Social Awareness Networking Site". Your monthly contributions of $19.19, $29.95 or $49.95 (US Funds) will make a world of difference.  Simply choose the contribution level that is financially responsible for you.  You can change your contribution level at any time and you may withdraw your support at any time.

The Virtual Village is a purpose driven, social networking adventure.  You will be able to network with Villagers from around the world.  Global Village TV will bring you live reports from Haiti and everywhere else Global Village Market is making a difference.  Villagers receive frequent messages from our Champions and have exclusive access to concerts and special events not found anywhere else.

Our Live Call is free via our website, you will be able to listen via a special "Listening Button" (you may not see it until tomorrow-our programmers are working around the clock to get it functional)

Here is the link: A Day WIthout Hunger

Please invite all of your friends, if you volunteer with an agency helping out with Haiti please pass this link to your Board of Directors, we may be able to partner with you..

If you have been raising money for Haiti and are just not sure which Charity or Foundation to direct your donation to, you will want to join us, become informed and Help Us Make A Difference.

Jackie it appears you are one very busy lady. I'd love to do an interview with you when you have time. You can see my site here >> http://www.kelliefrazier.com but in a nut shell I interview leaders who connect logic with compassion to teach young leaders how to be the difference to make a difference, and you obviously have that down pat.

As a side note: Mr. Ali was one of my neighbors when he lived in MI so this pic was nice for me to see. Lets connect!

Hi Jackie,

I applaud your efforts in helping Haiti with Global Village Foundation's tremendous work. It takes all of us to make a difference.

As a suggestion to complement your blog, you might want to write a Squidoo lens (which ranks high in search results) to highlight aspects of the Global Village Foundation and update the page with your RSS feed.

I recently changed some of the royalty settings for my lenses to Squidoo's Hope For Haiti charity. It's wonderful to be able to help in this small way.

In any case, I'll be back to visit for your Global Village updates and news on Newbie profits.

Best,
Jennifer
