Hope in Haiti - Progress Report

Global Village and it's founder Yank Barry have been working around the clock to organize our second shipment of Food and Medical Supplies to Haiti.  To expediate the process, Global Village has hired three cargo planes to carry over $100,000.00 in supplies.


We are working with the leaders of both the Roman Catholic and Protestant Church and we will go where they identify the most urgent needs.  We will go where they need us.

We need immediate financial assistance to offset the cost of these planes.  Each plane carrying the supplies costs $28,000.00 totalling $84,000.00.  The cost of the food and medical supplies is being paid for privately by Mr.Barry himself and he has committed $42,000.00 towards the planes.

Mr. Barry is personally flying to Haiti to ensure that the supplies arrive and to make sure that they make it to their destination safe and secure.

A new website is being designed as we speak where we will be reporting with live feeds our progress in Haiti.
